Terms
These terms cover how an engagement with VelocityAI works. They are deliberately short. Your written blueprint governs the specifics of your build.
The blueprint
Every engagement starts with a booked session and a written blueprint. The blueprint fixes scope, architecture, and price before any build work begins. What is not in the blueprint is not in scope until we agree to it in writing.
Price and changes
The price stated in your blueprint is fixed for the scope it describes. New scope is quoted and agreed in writing before we build it.
Invoicing
We invoice by milestone, against delivered work. Nothing is due before the blueprint is in your hands. Invoices are payable within the terms stated on them.
Ownership
On full payment, you own the systems we deliver for you, as set out in your blueprint. We may keep our own pre-existing tools, libraries, and methods, and reuse general know-how.
Running your build
Where you engage us to host, maintain, or operate a system, a retainer sets out what it covers. Either side can end a retainer with reasonable notice, given in writing.
Confidentiality
We keep your information confidential, and will sign an NDA before the first session if you prefer. We ask the same of you for anything we share about our methods.
Warranties and limits
We build carefully and stand behind our work. To the extent the law allows, our liability for an engagement is limited to the fees paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Governing law
These terms and every engagement are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and subject to the jurisdiction of its courts.
